Notifications - Space Tools

Overview
Notifications are essential for alerting content producers when there are tasks, assignments and other workflow related events.
This tab allows you to customise the space level notification settings which apply to all workflows used in the space (when the workflow is applied in either page mode and space mode).
The default settings are defined at global level by a Confluence administrator, but space administrators can override them at the space level.
For a user to receive any notifications when assigned to a task, approval or read confirmation, the user needs at least Pages - Add permission in the space.
Settings
For most use cases, the notifications should be set to Default, which will use the global settings defined in Notifications - Global.
If you are using customised notifications, usually via the send-email macro in a workflow trigger, this would potentially cause duplicate emails for the same events. To avoid email overload, an option may be to disable the default notifications.
