Unassigned collection
Snapshots created in a space that are not linked to a collection are added to the space unassigned collection.
An unassigned collection is displayed in the space snapshot publishing dashboard when a snapshot created in the space is
removed from an existing collection
and
is not a member of any other collection
The snapshot removed is added to the unassigned collection.
Unlinking a collection from the space (or removing the collection from the site) will also add any snapshot not currently added to any other collection to the unassigned collection.
Removing snapshots from the unassigned collection
A snapshot is removed from the unassigned collection
if the space administrator links the snapshot to another collection
if a contributor re-snaps the source Confluence document on the page
If a collection is re-linked to the space, any snapshots previously in the collection will be restored to the collection and removed from the unassigned collection.
The unassigned collection is not displayed if all the snapshots in the space have been added to at least one collection currently linked to the space.
