Different-space publishing

Overview
Different-space publishing allows you
to edit draft pages in one space in a cloud site
then publish these pages to another space (in the same cloud site)
The Comala Publishing for Cloud app must be installed to enable different-space publishing. Comala Publishing Cloud can only be used to publish Confluence Cloud pages. Comala Publishing cannot publish bog posts. |
Activating different-space publishing
There are two steps to setting up different-space publishing:
Configure the Comala Publishing app to connect the draft (source) space and the public (target) space – see also: How Comala Publishing for Cloud works
Apply a Comala workflow (that includes a workflow final state)to the pages in the source space
A source space page is published to the target space on the applied workflow transition to the final state
Publishing can instead be configured to take place on a different workflow event using a trigger in the applied workflow and the publish-page action macro.
