Remove Page Approval - Page Tools

A Document Approval workflow added and applied to an individual page can be removed using the Remove Page Approval option the page tools menu.

Open

When removing the page approval, you can choose to clear or retain the document activity for the page.

A popup is displayed to confirm removal of the page approval.

Open

• check the Delete Document Activity to remove document activity on the page when removing the page approval

• leave Delete Document Activity unchecked to retain the document activity on the page or blog post when removing the page approval

Choose Remove to remove the page approval.

After removal of a page wapproval, if a new page workflow is added when Document Activity was retained:

• the last approval state in the document activity will be applied - not the initial Review state of the new page workflow

• if the current state is one of the draft states, Review or Rejected and the content had previously been in the Approved state then the page sub-title will include a breadcrumb link to the approved content

• any previous document activity is available in the document activity report

If the user does not have space admin permission the popup will not display the option to delete document activity.  The document activity is retained by default.
