Using inWebo for user authentication

Overview

Comala Document Control can be globally configured to use inWebo MFA authentication

  • the validation of the user is managed by inWebo administration
  • each user must have an active and unexpired inWebo account
  • each user generates an OTP token using the inWebo Authenticator app installed on their Android or IOS mobile device

Using inWebo will disable the use of other 2FA apps and the OTP authentication is managed through inWebo.

Creating and adding the inWebo OTP token

Using the downloaded inWebo Authenticator app on your mobile device generate an OTP token

Add your inWebo username and this OTP token to the workflow popup.

Validation requires your inWebo username - this is not necessarily an email address and maybe different from your Confluence username. Please check with your inWebo administrator.

Error messages

When using inWebo authentication a user may experience the following error messages

  • if a user has not yet generated an inWebo token

  • if an old token is used

  • the token was generated by the mobile app but entered incorrectly or misspelled
