Transitions

Overview

The routes between the states in your workflow are transitions. 

A transition is unique to each state. 

Different types of transition can be seen in each workflow state in the Comala Document Control workflows.

Each of these workflow states has one or more transition options.

Some transitions are based on a user decision - undertaking an approval decision.

Other transitions may occur automatically based on a user action - updating the document.

A transition occurs on an event - a document being rejected - this causes the content to a destination state defined in the workflow.
