Add an existing Confluence page to a container
Configuring a board to add a page from the same space
Boards must be configured to accept page-cards.
Add an existing page to a container
An existing page can be added as a card to a board container.
- Ensure only Pages is checked
If Cards is checked you will not be able to add an existing page to the container. - Choose +Â Add page.
- Enter the name of the existing page.Â
The first three letters will provide options for the existing page.
- Choose the page to add as a card.
The page to be added as a card must be a child page of the board's parent page. By default, the parent page of an added board is the current page (@self). If no parent page is specified, then all the current space pages can be added.
A specific space and parent page can be specified in Board filters in the board editor.
Mouse-over the added page card to display the content of the newly linked page.
Any board container labels are added to the linked Confluence page.
Configuring a board to add a page from any space
The board must be configured to allow existing pages from other spaces.
In the board editor, the board must be configured to accept page-cards and cards and to search and display pages from all spaces.
- edit the board Properties to accept page-cards and cards.
- edit the board Filter to search and display pages from all spaces by checking All spaces and removing any specified parent page including the default value of @self.
The board can also be configured to search in a specific space rather than any space.
Add an existing page from another space to a container
- Choose +Â Add page.
- check the option to Search all spaces.
- enter the initial characters of the page to be added.
- choose the page to add as a card to the container.
