value-name

The value name of the space metadata to retrieve. Any wiki format that is part of the metadata value will be rendered on the current page.

space

The space where the value name of the space metadata has been added.

Default is to the current space.

Usage

To retrieve a single metadata value from a space, choose the space metadata from macro from the Confluence macro browser:

The macro editor allows you to configure the macro.

The macro requires you to add the space metadata value name.

The source space defaults to the current space. To retrieve space metadata from another space, add the space key for the space.

In the example the metadata Team Owners has been defined using the space-metadata macro. Once you choose Insert, the macro placeholder is displayed on the edit for the current page, with the metadata value name appended.

The value of Team Owners will displayed on the current page. In the example the space metadata value was added as Comala Development Superstars.

If the metadata included any wiki formatting as part of the value then this will be rendered on the current page together with the value. Otherwise the value is displayed unformatted.

Reference Markup

{space-metadata-from:Department|space=HR}
