You will also need view and edit permissions for both the draft space and the target space.
Standalone single-page publishing is enabled for each space by default when the space is enabled for publishing and a target space has been set.
Publish button will not be displayed if single-page publishing is disabled for the space.
Standalone publishing can also be used to publish a page when a Comala workflow is added and applied to the page.
Publishing a page
For an unpublished page (in the space Documentation Management) choose the publishing byline New to open the publishing popup.
The publishing popup will only display the settings cog icon if you have admin permission for the space.
Choose the Publish button. An on-screen message confirms a successful publication.
Refresh the page to close the on-screen confirmation message and update the draft space publishing byline.
Synced page
When a page is published to the target space the byline on the page in the source space will change to Synced.
The publishing popup displays
- the current time elapsed since the sync occurred
- a Publish button option
- a View Published Version button to display the page in the target space
The page in the target space (Documentation Public space) will also display the Synced byline.
The publishing popup in the target has a link to the source space version of the page.
Out of sync page
If there are any changes to the page content that has been published will change the publishing byline to Out of sync.
- changes on either the target or draft space page will cause the page to be out of sync
- both the target and the draft space page publishing byline will be Out of sync
Deleting a page
Deleting the page in the target space adds the Out of sync byline to the draft space page.
Removing the page in the draft space will add a Removed byline to the target space page.
