An approval can be undertaken for pages or blog posts that have previously been reviewed and are in the Rejected state.
The Approve button will transition the content to the Approved state. However the Reject button will leave the content in the Rejected state.
A reviewer rejection decision will be seen as a breadcrumb in the page sub-title and the user avatar, with the decision appended, will be added to the approval popup:
The rejection decision, although it does not cause a transition to a different state, will be recorded in the Page Activity Report.
As in the Review content review, you will be able to assign, reassign and unassign reviewers.
Look for the + Add reviewer button next to the Approve and Reject buttons.
Updating Rejected Content
Although a reject decision in the content review does not cause a state transition, if the page or blog post in the Rejected state is edited, and the page is saved using Update, the workflow will automatically transition the content to the Review state for further editing and review.
