Introducing Comala Document Approval 2

We know that Comala Document Management and the Page Activity is a key capability for many of our customers, especially those that rely on it for regulatory or compliance needs.

We are working on a new, improved capability called Document Activity that will be released in Comala Document Approval 2. This update will deliver:

• Better performance and stability

• A new Document Activity Report with improved filtering and layout

• Document Activity APIs to drive your own business insight

The expected release date for Comala Document Approval 2 is in  Q1 2023.

Getting ready

To take advantage of the new capabilities of Comala Document Approval 2 you will need to upgrade your existing activity data to a new data format. The upgrade will require your Confluence Administrator to enable Confluence Read Only Mode while the upgrade runs.

So that you can start to plan your upgrade, we have released a new 'upgrade checks' capability in Comala Document Approval 1.11 that will enable you to:

• Validate your page activity is ready to be upgraded

• Get upgrade duration estimates
