Approval notifications

Comala Document Approval will send email notifications and on-screen messages for some approval related events.

Email notifications

Comala Document Approval will send email notifications for the following events

  • a user is assigned to review a page/blog


    The email notification is sent to the user assigned to the review.

  • an assignee to a content review is unassigned from the review. The email notification is sent to the user who was unassigned.

Email notifications will come from no-reply@comalatech.com. This is not from the address that normally sends emails related to built-in Confluence functionality.

On-screen message notifications

A user who is assigned to a content review, in addition to email notification of the assignment to the review, will see an on-screen notification message when they view the content.


Users viewing the content will also see an on-screen message notification when a user approval decision (approved/rejected) has occurred.
