Overview

The approve-children macro can be used to approve a specific approval, where active, on all child pages of the page where the action was triggered.

Where to use it?

Optional.

One or more approve-children macros can be put in a trigger macro.

Parameters

Name of the approval to approve.

Only applies to child pages where there is an active approval of that name.

Approval comment:

  • plain text
  • can use any character set supported by your Confluence server – except some reserved characters.
state

State in which the child page must be in order to be approved


(warning) The approve-children macro will not work if the page is using also using the K15t Scroll Versions app

Events

The following Events are associated with approvals

  • newsapproved
  • pageapproved

Events with anonymous users

The approve-children macro will not work with events that are ascribed by the workflow to an anonymous user. For example the stateexpired event.
