Overview
A user can confirm reading the content. Confirmation of reading the content adds a simple read confirmation.
Any user with view permission can confirm reading a page or blog post.
Add a simple read confirmation
Choose Read Confirmation in the page tools menu
In the read confirmation popup choose Confirm.
An on-screen message confirms the addition of the read confirmation.
Refresh the page to view
- the read confirmation byline breadcrumb added to the page sub-title
- the read confirmation bar added to the page footer
One or more users must be assigned as readers to the read confirmation.
Choose the Assign button or the Read Confirmation breadcrumb to open the read confirmation popup.
Search for a user or Confluence group to add to the assignment box and then choose + (plus) to add as a reader.
A read confirmation status is PENDING if no reader has yet confirmed.
Once at least one reader confirms the read confirmation status changes to PARTIAL.
On the page, the status of the read confirmation status is updated in the read confirmation byline breadcrumb and the read confirmation bar.
All readers must confirm to change the read confirmation status to CONFIRMED.
- any user with view permission, once assigned as a reader can confirm reading the content
- a user with edit permission for the content can add and remove a user as a reader
- all readers can be removed using the Clear list option in the popup
