Read confirmation notifications
By default, Comala Read Confirmations sends an email notification for the following events
A user can choose Read Confirmations in their personal profile to Receive notifications in Slack and disable/enable Receive email notifications.

A user is assigned as a reader
A user assigned as a reader to a read confirmation will receive an email notification.
The assigned user is listed in the read confirmation popup.
An on-screen notification will also be displayed when the user next views the content.
Content is updated
Updating content sets the overall read confirmation status as Pending and the read confirmation requires re-confirming.
All users who had previously confirmed the read confirmation receives an email requesting them to re-confirm the read confirmation.
The read confirmation bar on the page displays the Re-Confirm button.
The user remains listed as a reader in the read confirmation popup for the content read confirmation on the page showing the time elapsed since the last read confirmation and a warning icon.
Users assigned as readers including those who had confirmed the previous content version) receives an email notification that the page has been changed since the user's last confirmation.
The on-screen notification of the assignment of the read confirmation is also displayed the next time the assigned user views the content.
