Overview

The Page Tools menu can be accessed from any page or blog post by clicking the ellipsis (...) button in the top-right corner of the screen.

The following workflow-related links may be displayed on the page tools menu:

Menu item display is dependent on user permission and whether

The Edit Parameters option is displayed when there is an active page workflow and one or more workflow parameters are configured to allow the value to be edited by a user.

If there is an active space workflow on the content only the Page Activity menu option will be displayed.

The Add Task option is displayed when

  • there is no active workflow on the content
  • if there is an active workflow (space or page) and the current workflow state allows a user to add tasks to the content

Page Activity

Displays Activity Report - Content for the content you are looking at.

Appears for pages and blog posts:

  • regardless of whether they have a workflow
  • only shown, by default, to users who can edit or admin the content

Add Workflow

Displays the Add Workflow dialog where you can copy an existing workflow to the page or blog post, or create a new custom states workflow.

Edit with Workflow Builder

Displays the Workflow Builder, which includes:

  • interactive flowchart for the workflow
  • workflow trigger summary
  • toggle option to workflow markup editor

Appears on pages and blog posts:

Edit with Markup

Displays the Workflow Markup editor, which includes:

  • editable markup for the workflow
  • toggle option to workflow builder editor

Appears on pages and blog posts:

Add Task...

Adds the "Tasks" link to the Workflow Status Bar, from which you can access the Tasks Popup.

Appears for pages and blog posts:

  • if they don't have a workflow or
  • when there is an active workflow and the workflow is in a "taskable" state

Edit Parameters

Edit the value for a workflow parameter.

Appears on pages and blog posts:

  • only when there is an active page workflow (Page Mode) is on the content
  • the workflow has a workflow parameter that has been configured to editable by a user

Remove Workflow

Remove an active page workflow on the content.

Appears on pages and blog posts:

Options when removing the page workflow to

  • remove content properties and workflow history
  • remove any workflow parameter values on the content

Add Read Confirmation

Adds a standalone read confirmation to the page.

Appears for pages and blog posts:

  • if they don't have a workflow.

Export to PDF or Word

PDF and Word exports respect Published vs. Draft state restrictions for Same-space publishing.
