Overview

in a draft space, you can manually publish each page using the publishing byline and popup

In the space settings of the current space (the draft space) you must have

You will also need view and edit permissions for both the draft space and the target space.

(star) Publish button will not be displayed if single-page publishing is disabled for the space.

If enabled, single-page publishing can be used to publish a document when a Comala workflow is added and applied to the page.

(green star) Standalone single-page publishing is enabled for each space by default when the space is enabled for publishing and a target space has been set. 

Publishing a page

For an unpublished page (in the space Human Resources Draft) choose the publishing byline New to open the publishing popup.

Choose the Publish button to publish the page.

An on-screen message confirms successful publication.

Refresh the page to close the on-screen confirmation message and update the draft space publishing byline.

(blue star) The configuration settings option icon link below is only displayed in the publishing popup if the current user is an administrator.

Synced page

When a page is published to the target space the byline on the page in the source space will change to Synced.

The publishing popup displays

  • the current time elapsed since the sync occurred

  • Publish button option

  • View Published Version button to display the page in the target space

The page in the target space (Human Resources public space) will also display the Synced byline.

The publishing popup in the target space includes a link button to the source space version of the page.

Out of sync page

If there are any changes to the page content that has been published will change the publishing byline to Out of sync.

  • changes on either the target or draft space page will cause the page to be out of sync

  • both the target and the draft space page publishing byline will be Out of sync

Deleting a page

Deleting the page in the target space adds the Out of sync byline to the draft space page.

Removing the page in the draft space will add a Removed byline to the target space page.
