Approvals Report

A report for the approvals activities in the entire space can be accessed by choosing Approvals Report in the left-hand sidebar navigation.


This report is for all content in the space and can be filtered to show content in each of the three states or those with pending approvals.

The full report can only be accessed by users with Edit or Admin permissions. Any content with view restrictions for the current user viewing the report will not be displayed.

The report can be filtered by state or the pending approvals for the current user using the filter option buttons.

Approval History

The approval history report can be accessed using the page tools menu.

The report is a chronological listing of all approvals activity on the individual page.

The report can also be accessed from the Activity Report link in the approval workflow popup in the Approved state.

The Reset Approvals button will only be displayed for users with admin permission.


Approval History can also be viewed by

  • choosing the page tools menu  Attachments option for the document
  • choose the added Approval Report tab



If there is no active workflow on the content but approval history was retained

  • the page tools option for approval history will not be available but the the Approval History will still be available in this Approval Report tab

The Approval Report tab will not be displayed if there is no active workflow on the content and approval history was removed.

If the page is copied the Approval History is copied and listed in the Approval Report tab when viewing Attachments.

(warning) A user with edit or admin permission can clear the approval history for the page by deleting the Approval History in this Approval Report tab.

(info) A space admin can use the Clear option in the space settings Document Approval dashboard to remove approval history for content in the space.

If the page is copied the approval history report is copied.
