Overview

Comala Document Management 7 introduces an improved capability - Document Activity. This requires you to upgrade your data.

Upgrading your data to use the new Document Activity capability for your pages provides a number of new features and capabilities:

  • new activity reports

  • a new API to allow your teams to unlock business insight into the performance of your teams using workflows

Data upgrade process

We have provided the Document Activity Upgrade Console in global administration to enable you to manage the upgrade of your activity data.

There are two parts:

  • Pre-upgrade checks

  • Data upgrade

Comala Document Management 7 Administration

The data upgrade option will only be available in Comala Document Management v7.0 and later. This will require Read Only mode in your data center to be enabled during the data upgrade.

Pre-upgrade checks can be completed from Comala Document Management v6.17 on both Confluence Server and Data Center. We recommend that you update to the latest version before running the checks to ensure you have the latest set of use cases.
