Workflow notifications

Comala Document Control will send email notifications for the following events

  • assignees will receive a notification when they are assigned to review a page

On-screen notification messages will also be created for example, when reviewers have undertaken an approval decision

Content Expiry workflow notifications

For content with the Content Expiry workflow applied, when the Approved state expiry date is reached, the content state will change to Expired and an additional workflow email notification will be sent to

  • users who are watching the content

The email notifications will come from no-reply@comalatech.com. This is not from the address that normally sends emails related to built-in Confluence functionality.

The Approved state expiry also creates an an on-page message notification.

Quality Management Systems workflow notifications

For content with the Quality Management System workflow applied, users who are assigned to approve the content in the In Approval state will receive a bespoke email notification.

The workflow reviewers for the In Approval state content review are user(s) who are added as a value(s) for the workflow parameters @document_users_reviewers@ and/or users who are a member of the Confluence group(s) added as a value(s) for the workflow parameter @document_group_reviewers@.
