Read confirmation due date

Overview

The read confirmation popup allows page editors and admins to add and edit a due date for a read confirmation.

If all assigned read confirmations are not completed by the due date, the read confirmation status in the popup is changed to OVERDUE.

Add a due date

  • choose the read confirmation due date icon in the read confirmation popup.
  • select the date and time for the due date.

Any due date will be displayed in the read confirmation popup. Only assigned readers will see the due date displayed in the read confirmation popup.

Page editors and administrators can add a due date to read confirmation but unless they are a reader they may not see the due date added to the read confirmation popup. Users assigned as a reader will be able to view the due date for any pending read confirmation in their personal read assignments.

If the read confirmation due date passes without all the requested read confirmations being completed, the read confirmation popup displays an OVERDUE status lozenge.

The read confirmation status icon on the page will be displayed in red to indicate the due date has expired.

Once all readers have confirmed the read confirmation, the due date icon will not be displayed until a new read confirmation is added to the content.

Resending read confirmations and due date

Resending read confirmations using the read confirmation popup ellipsis menu will remove any existing due date.

A new read confirmation request by a reviewer whilst making an Approve decision will remove any previous due date.

In both instances, a new due date will need to be added using the read confirmation popup.
