Why can't I find my Comala workflows in my Cloud site after migration?

Our integration with the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant currently only migrates the ‘current state' of a document.

However, your Comala workflows are not migrated.

Prior to migration, you can update to the latest version of Comala Document Management server and use a trial license for the purposes of your migration.

Solution

As Comala workflows in Confluence Cloud use a JSON format rather than the 'markup' format used in Server, you need to recreate your workflows using Workflow Builder.

  • if you are using workflows bundled with the app, the Cloud app includes JSON cloud versions of those in the server app

  • if you are using custom workflows, these can be translated /wiki/spaces/AWPD/pages/14259224605 accessible through workflow builder (if enabled by your administrator in server)

note

Workflow translator may not be able to translate all elements of a server workflow to cloud compatible code. These unsupported elements for translation are highlighted for each workflow translation action.
