Global Configuration

Global administrators can

  • view the onboarding Getting Started guide

  • configure the app use for the OTP provider, usage analytics, and enable/disable permission to allow a Confluence server instance to migrate to this cloud site

  • manage user approval signing tokens

Configuration

Configure the app to

  • use inWebo app as the OTP provider for user authentication for approvals

  • disable/enable Usage Analytics information sent to Comalatech on the app usage

  • Enable migrations  to allow a Confluence server instance to migrate to this cloud site

global admin document management configuration

Using inWebo authentication will disable the use of other 2FA apps - all e-signature OTP user authentication will be managed through inWebo.

If Usage Analytics is enabled this allows Comalatech to view trends in the app and prioritize future features development by collecting anonymous usage information on how our products are being used through our own service for this purpose. For details please see our Privacy Policy.

Prior to migration from a server instance, you will need to install the Comala Document Management for Cloud app. Once installed, you must enable Server Migration in the Comala Document Management Cloud app global configuration. Simply move the Enable migrations slider to display the green tick.

o

(info) If a migration process fails, you may have to disable and then re-enable migrations.

Approval Signing Code Admin

If e-signature is enabled for an individual workflow approval users must create  and use a signing token to enable the approval and authenticate the approval decision.

The details for signing tokens set up by individual users are displayed in the Approval Signing Code Admin screen:

  • user name

  • token expiry date

  • date created

  • last token usage attempt by each user

  • number of failed token authentication attempts by each user

Global administrators can

  • choose to reset signing codes requiring a user to set up a new signing code

If inWebo MFA authentication is globally configured in Comla Document Management this will disable the use of other 2FA apps.

Global permissions configuration

Installing the app will also automatically add the Comala Approvals for Confluence Cloud app system user and configure the global and space permissions for the app system user.
