Document Activity
Comala Document Management 7 introduces an improved capability - Document Activity. This requires you to upgrade your data.
Upgrading your data to use the Document Activity capability for your content not only provides improvements in performance and stability but also new features and capabilities including
a new document activity REST API to allow your teams to unlock business insights into the progress of your document development and the performance of your teams using workflows
Activity upgrade process
The Document Activity Upgrade Consoleconsole in global administration enables you to manage the upgrade of your activity data.
There are two parts

data upgrade

The document activity data upgrade option is only available in Comala Document Management v7.0 and later.
This data upgrade
for existing spaces with workflow activity requires Read Only
mode in your data center to be enabled during the data upgrade.

Pre-upgrade data checks can be completed in from Comala Document Management v6.17 on both Confluence Server and Data Center. We recommend that you update to the latest version before running the checks to ensure you have the latest set of use cases. |
After the installation of Comala Document Management 7.0+
new spaces created will automatically use document activity to record workflow events and actions
existing spaces without a previously applied workflow will automatically use document activity to record workflow events and actions on application of a workflow
