Overview

Comala Document Management Cloud, Comala Document Control Cloud or Comala Document Approval can now be added to pages in a space configured as a target space for publishing

Status
colourGreen
titleNew 2023
.

Publishing a page to the target space creates a new page version in the target space.

The publishing action does not include any properties for a workflow applied to the source space content.

When a Comala workflow is enabled and applied as a space workflow for all the pages in the target space

  • a page published for the first time to a target space with an active space workflow will have a workflow applied with the page in the initial state of the workflow

  • publishing an existing page will cause the workflow to change only if the current workflow state includes an Updated transitionall

All other target page applied workflow events will not cause any change in the publishing status for the page

Publishing sync status and workflow state

The current publishing sync status for a page does not change if the target space applied workflow

  • changes state (unless caused by this is as a result of an Updated transition)

  • has reviewers assigned/unassigned to an approval

  • has reviewers approve/reject the page

  • state due date expires or is changed by a user

Publishing updates an update will not remove document activity on the target space page.

The content properties for any workflow applied to the source space page are not published by Comala Publishing - this means source space page Comala workflow (or if installed Comala Read Confirmation) properties are not included in a publishing action.
