Collection manager
The creator of a Collection is the Collection Manager.
A collection manager user must have space administrator permission in a space and a must be member of the Confluence user group added to the Collection Managers group in the app global Snapshot Publishers groupconfiguration.
A collection manager can set up snapshot publishing in a space using the space snapshot publishing dashboard and then create, link and manage collections in the space.
In the snapshot publishing dashboard a collection manager can
create a new collection in the space
link an existing collection in the instance to the space
link and move an existing snapshot in the space to collections listed in the space
manage users who can view a collection or can add a snapshot to a collection
A collection manager can also create and add a snapshot from a source Confluence document for any collection where that are the collection manager.
Collection permissions
The collection manager can configure the user permissions for the collections they have created.
For each collection they can
add users who can view the collection (collection viewers)
add users who can contribute a snapshot to the collection (collection contributors)
A collection contributor must have Confluence view and edit permission for the source Confluence document to create a snapshot.
To link a collection created in another space, the space administrator requires contributor permission to that collection set by the creator of that collection.
